New Year Greetings

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

A blessed and happy New Year to all of you who visit. We've begun another calendar year and there will be many changes in the coming 366 days, as there have been in the 365 that we just completed. But it's good to comfort ourselves in the knowledge of our God who has been changeless from one generation to another. I hope that 2008 will draw you and me closer to Him. I'll slowly be making my rounds to my friends to give holiday greetings.

I haven't done well catching up on my writing during the break, so blogging will be sparse. Keep me in prayer as I get back to donning the various headgear that we moms need to wear, and PLEASE pray that the projects can get moving. Too much activity over the holidays!! Now maybe some time to breathe!

I have projects that need to continue their move as well but they seem to have decided rather to gather cobwebs. *ugh* I read your post on the headgear. Very amusing since it hit home so well.

you shared,
I hope that 2008 will draw you and me closer to Him.

Thank you. But one thing I know, that when we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. It warms my heart to think of Him as the Father watching for His child, and then when seeing us coming, He runs to meet us. Who IS this loving God?! He is worthy all that we have to give and more because He first loved us, giving all He had that we might be redeemed to Him through His only Son.

I pray as we draw close to Him, He will teach us a greater depth to His Love. May He bind us in those chords of Love that cannot be broken.

I love those words "from everlasting to everlasting" even though the realm of time is so limited in our human brains. It still amazes me.

My blogging has been sparse also but I have a renewed determination to keep up!

Blessings to you in 2008.

From everlasting to everlasting... what an awesome God we have!

I'll be praying for you with all the important things on the horizon... I know the feeling. I'm learning to lay all those goals and aspirations at Jesus feet and find the rest I so desperately need. I need Him every hour :)

Hi! I haven't been over here in a while. I see I've missed a few posts!

Happy new year to you too, and indeed, I hope that 2008 will draw you and me closer to Him.

I'll be praying that your projects can get moving. I think we all need some time to breathe after the past couple of holiday weeks!
