Path of Humility
Accept every humiliation, look upon every fellow-man who tries or vexes you, as a means of grace to humble you. Use every opportunity of humbling' yourself before your fellow-men as a help to abide humble before God. God will accept such humbling of yourself as the proof that your whole heart desires it, as the very best prayer for it, as your preparation for His mighty work of grace, when, by the mighty strengthening of His Holy Spirit, He reveals Christ fully in you, so that He, in His form of a servant, is truly formed in you, and dwells in your heart. It is the path of humility which leads to perfect death, the full and perfect experience that we are dead in Christ.
I am a sinner saved by grace. Every day I am reminded of how thankful I am for the blood of Jesus Christ, which has saved me from my sins and made me a child of God.
I am a wife of one, a mama of two and a nanna of three so far, trying to write and live to the glory of God in my latter years.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
The word "scraps" can mean several things, but one of its meanings is that it refers to little bits or small pieces of something. The noun "glory" refers to adoring praise and honor given to someone or something ; it also refers to the person or object itself as a thing of radiant beauty or magnificence. I hope that helps explain this blog. I'm a busy lady, and creating a third blog did not seem the sensible thing to do. But then I thought about just making short posts that would give glimpses of our King--just glances at His glory. I should have time to do that. So that's why we're here.
I didn't realize how much I love to write about spiritual things until my mature years. It's now my favorite thing to do, especially writing for young people, as I try to encourage others upward to God in various publications. I'm hoping this will be another outlet for me and an inspiration to those who happen to stop by. May you see Christ on these pages; may you love Him more; may you read something that takes you to your knees.
