Lovely Apparel

A passage of Scripture which has always been dear to me tells of some beautiful clothing which we can and should be wearing. Certainly it's apparel that should be a part of each of our wardrobes:

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:12-15

All those beautiful things and to be thankful :) Wonderful. May we put on those clothes everyday! In fact I posted about this very thing not too long ago :) It's neat to see how the Lord works this way! Amen!

Colossians 3 is probably my most favorite chapter of the Bible to read. It speaks to so much of our Christian life and relationships with others. I read it often! : )

I love the way you presented this verse!

And thank you for putting the note about Nearer Blessed LORD...I went there earlier and it touched me very deeply as I have a friend at this present time dying of stomach cancer. She is going through Chemo with nutrional therapy. Her name is Donna if you would remember her in your prayes as well. She is only 45 yrs old...a loving mother of 6 with 4 still at home.

God bless..
